The Secret Name of the Messiah
It was on February 2006 that BibleSearchers revealed to its reading audience, about the life of Israel’s most revered and controversial rabbis, Yitzhak Kaduri, zt”l, in the article titled, “The Messiah will be Revealed Soon”. Before his death, he wrote on a small note the name of the Jewish Messiah. This note, according to the rabbis death bed instructions were to be sealed and not opened until he had been dead for one year.
On January 28, 2006, this 108 year old (estimated between 106-115 years) esteemed Sephardic Kabbalist died. His funeral was attended by the largest gathering of Jews ever recorded, an estimated 200,000 to 300,000 Jews. Now, one year later, the name of the Jewish Messiah, according to Rabbi Kaduri, who today is living within the land of Israel, has been revealed. Is it any surprise to the followers of the Jewish Nazarene Messiah that the name revealed was Yehoshua (Yahshua or Yeshua) or better known in the Christian world as Jesus of Nazareth.
This announcement first came to my attention from Rabbi Akiva on Mystical Paths blogsite on February 5, 2007, who received the news from Yaak from the blogsite of Yeranen Yaakov. This message stated:
Mystical Paths by Akiva – “The great and holy mekubal (kabbalist), the elder of the generation, HaRav Yitzchok Kaduri, zt"l, left this world after a brief illness at the age of 106, one year and two weeks ago. In the years prior to his death, he is said to have recognized that the neshama of +Moshiach had entered this world, and had met with Moshiach. We have no reason to doubt his holy words.
Before his passing, the holy rav left a note with instructions for it not to be opened until 1 year after his hilhula. That year has passed, and the note has been opened. The note reads:
בעניין הר"ת [ראשי תיבות, ע.י.] של משיח. ירים העם ויוכיח שדברו ותורתו עומדים. באתי על החתום בחודש הרחמים [אלול, ע.י] התשס"ה, יצחק כדורי
The Rav gives the name of Moshiach by the first letters of a pasuk, the name being Yehoshua! Unfortunately, there are those who find this name greatly similar to another name, and are looking to this as some validation for their non-Jewish religious positions. (Yehoshua is close to the traditional Hebrew name associated with the Xian deity.)
As Yaak pointed out to me...Rabbi Lazer Brody, shlita, wrote 18 months ago..."The Melitzer Rebbe shlit'a explained to me how difficult the future tests of faith will be. "Imagine that Eliahu HaNavi returns to earth, and again challenges all the false prophets on Mount Carmel, only this time, the fire will come down and consume the sacrifice of the false prophets. Many of the simpletons will run and embrace the false prophets. But, there will still be a few of us who will yell out, 'Hashem hu HaElokim' (The Lord is G-d!).
Senior Sephardi Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri
Despite the fact that everything looks like the false prophets are right, as soon as those few steadfastly loyal believers of Hashem cling to their pure and unwavering emuna, a second fire will come from the Heavens and destroy the false prophets".
The Rebbe shlit'a is in effect saying, "Don't be fooled when you see evil winning out; this is a difficult - but only temporary - test of faith." This is an important principle to remember, especially during these difficult times."
If memory serves, the Melitzer Rebbe, shlita, quotes from a Yalkut Shimoni, which further states at that time the kings of the world will turn to the Jews and say, "Now, see, our god is true and yours is obviously false. We've proven it to you. Join our religion!" Then it will be the time to stand up and shout, Hashem Hu HaElokim, The Lord is G-d, and stand true to HaKodesh Baruch Hu, the Holy One, Blessed Be He, and Toras Emes, the Torah of Truth!
The blogs in Israel have been alive with charges of forgery, insertions of Hebrew letter markings that would change the meaning of the words and subsequently the “name” has led to many lively discussions. What it does highlight the wide gulf between modern Judaism and Christianity today that separates both pathways that both once upon a time, in first century Judea, followed in its purer state, the pathway of the School of Hillel.
It was Hillel the Great and Menahem the Essene, the nasi and av beis din of the Sanhedrin between the years of 30 BCE and 20 BCE, who desired that the Torah would soon be revealed to the Gentile world so that all men would comprehend that there is a God of Creation, that wanted a living relationship with all of His creation, and that this God was the God of Israel.
Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri’s Portrayal of the Messiah
On May 20, 2007, Israel Today, a Jewish messianic newsletter in Israel, posted an exclusive article titled, “Rabbi Reveals Name of the Messiah”. It was written by Aviel Schneider.
Israel Today – “A few months before he died, one of the nation's most prominent rabbis, Yitzhak Kaduri, supposedly wrote the name of the Messiah on a small note which he requested would remain sealed until now. When the note was unsealed, it revealed what many have known for centuries: Yehoshua, or Yeshua (Jesus), is the Messiah.
With the biblical name of Jesus, the Rabbi and kabbalist described the Messiah using six words and hinting that the initial letters form the name of the Messiah. The secret note said:
Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah's name, He will lift the people and prove that his word and law (Torah) are valid.
This I have signed in the month of mercy (Jewish
month of Elul),
Yitzhak Kaduri
The Hebrew sentence (translated above in bold) with the hidden name of the Messiah reads: Yarim Ha'Am Veyokhiakh Shedvaro Vetorato Omdim
The initials spell the Hebrew name of Jesus, Yehoshua. Yehoshua and Yeshua are effectively the same name, derived from the same Hebrew root of the word "salvation" as documented in Zechariah 6:11 and Ezra 3:2.
The same priest writes in Ezra, "Yeshua son of Yozadak" while writing in Zechariah "Yehoshua son of Yohozadak." The priest adds the holy abbreviation of God's name, ho, in the father's name Yozadak and in the name Yeshua. With one of Israel's most prominent rabbis indicating the name of the Messiah is Yeshua, it is understandable why his last wish was to wait one year after his death before revealing what he wrote. When the name of Yehoshua appeared in Kaduri's message, ultra-Orthodox Jews from his Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva (seminary) in Jerusalem argued that their master did not leave the exact solution for decoding the Messiah's name.
The revelation received scant coverage in the Israeli media. Only the Hebrew websites News First Class (Nfc) and Kaduri.net mentioned the Messiah note, insisting it was authentic. The Hebrew daily Ma'ariv ran a story on the note but described it as a forgery. Jewish readers responded on the websites' forums with mixed feelings: "So this means Rabbi Kaduri was a Christian?" and "The Christians are dancing and celebrating," were among the comments.
Israel Today spoke to two of Kaduri's followers in Jerusalem who admitted that the note was authentic, but confusing for his followers as well. "We have no idea how the Rabbi got to this name of the Messiah," one of them said. Yet others completely deny any possibility that the note is authentic. Kaduri's son, Rabbi David Kaduri, said that at the time the note was written (September 2005), his father's physical condition made it impossible for him to write.
KADURI'S PORTRAYAL OF THE MESSIAH
A few months before Kaduri died at the age of 108, he surprised his followers when he told them that he met the Messiah. Kaduri gave a message in his synagogue on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, teaching how to recognize the Messiah. He also mentioned that the Messiah would appear to Israel after Ariel Sharon's death. (The former prime minister is still in a coma after suffering a massive stroke more than a year ago.)
Other rabbis predict the same, including Rabbi Haim Cohen, kabbalist Nir Ben Artzi and the wife of Rabbi Haim Kneiveskzy. Kaduri's grandson, Rabbi Yosef Kaduri, said his grandfather spoke many times during his last days about the coming of the Messiah and redemption through the Messiah. His spiritual portrayals of the Messiah-reminiscent of New Testament accounts-were published on the websites Kaduri.net and Nfc:
Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri - "It is hard for many good people in society to understand the person of the Messiah. The leadership and order of a Messiah of flesh and blood is hard to accept for many in the nation. As leader, the Messiah will not hold any office, but will be among the people and use the media to communicate. His reign will be pure and without personal or political desire. During his dominion, only righteousness and truth will reign.
"Will all believe in the Messiah right away? No, in the beginning some of us will believe in him and some not. It will be easier for non-religious people to follow the Messiah than for Orthodox people.
"The revelation of the Messiah will be fulfilled in two stages: First, he will actively confirm his position as Messiah without knowing himself that he is the Messiah. Then he will reveal himself to some Jews, not necessarily to wise Torah scholars. It can be even simple people. Only then he will reveal himself to the whole nation. ‑The people will wonder and say: 'What, that's the Messiah?' Many have known his name but have not believed that he is the Messiah."
FAREWELL
TO A 'TSADIK'
Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri was known for his photographic memory and his memorization of the Bible, the Talmud, Rashi and other Jewish writings. He knew Jewish sages and celebrities of the last century and rabbis who lived in the Holy Land and kept the faith alive before the State of Israel was born.
Kaduri was not only highly esteemed because of his age of 108. He was charismatic and wise, and chief rabbis looked up to him as a Tsadik, a righteous man or saint. He would give advice and blessings to everyone who asked. ‑Thousands visited him to ask for counsel or healing. His followers speak of many miracles and his students say that he predicted many disasters.
When he died, more than 200,000 people joined the funeral procession on the streets of Jerusalem to pay their respects as he was taken to his final resting place.
"When he comes, the Messiah will rescue Jerusalem from foreign religions that want to rule the city," he said. "They will not succeed for they will fight against one another." Subscribe to Israel Today for more news and perspective by Israeli believers
THE RABBI'S FOLLOWERS REACT
In an interview with Israel Today, Rabbi David Kaduri, the 80-year-old son of the late Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri, denied that his father left a note with the name Yeshua just before he died. “It’s not his writing,” he said when we showed him a copy of the note. During a nighttime meeting in the Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva in Jerusalem, books with the elder Kaduri’s handwriting from 80 years ago were presented to us in an attempt to prove that the Messiah note was not authentic.
When we told Rabbi Kaduri that his father’s official website (www.kaduri.net) had mentioned the Messiah note, he was shocked. “Oh no! That’s blasphemy. The people could understand that my father pointed to him [the Messiah of the Christians].” David Kaduri confirmed, however, that in his last year, his father had talked and dreamed almost exclusively about the Messiah and his coming. “My father has met the Messiah in a vision,” he said, “and told us that he would come soon.”
Israel Today was given access to many of the rabbi's manuscripts, written in his own hand for the exclusive use of his students. Most striking were the cross-like symbols painted by Kaduri all over the pages. In the Jewish tradition, one does not use crosses. In fact, even the use of a plus sign is discouraged because it might be mistaken for a cross. But there they were, scribbled in the rabbi's own hand. When we asked what those symbols meant, Rabbi David Kaduri said they were “signs of the angel." Pressed further about the meaning of the “signs of the angel," he said he had no idea.
Rabbi David Kaduri went on to explain that only his father had had a spiritual relationship with God and had met the Messiah in his dreams. Orthodox Jews around the Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva told Israel Today a few weeks later that the story about the secret note of Rabbi Kaduri should never have come out, and that it had damaged the name the revered old sage.”
The Life of Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri
Let us review a little of the life of Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri. Somewhere before the year of 1895 in the villages of either Baghdad or Basra in Ottoman Turkey, Yitzhak was born. In his youth, he began the life of Torah study. There he became a student of the esteemed Jewish sage, Rabbi Yosef Haim, known as Ben Ish Chai, the “Wise Rabbi of Baghdad” blessed his young student proclaiming that he would have a long life. It was also there that Yitzhak witnessed his mentor pass from this life in the year of 1904.
Yitzhak, now a rabbi in Baghdad, found that life in Iraq was radically changing in the years before and during the rise of Nazi Germany. It was during these days that the Mufti of Jerusalem and the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt, where Hamas became the Palestinian chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood, collaborated with Adolf Hitler to bring to fulfillment the “Final Solution” for the Jewish people. This collaboration was documented in the BibleSearchers article, “The Mufti of Jerusalem and the Muslim Brotherhood.”
It was when he was seventeen that Rabbi Yitzchak Kaduri came to Israel and studied under several of the legendary kabbalists, the sages of mystical Judaism. These sages included Rabbi Yehuda Petaya, Rabbi Efraim Cohen, the head of a small group of kabbalah scholars who studied at the Porat Yosef Yeshiva. These included: Rabbi Ezra Atia, Rabbi Mansour Ben-Shimon, and Rabbi Salman Eliyahu, the father of the former Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu. Later, in the 1940s, when Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri emigrated from the land of Babylon, he studied at Rabbi Yehuda Hadaya’s Yeshivat Beit El that was located in the Jerusalem’s Makor Baruch district where he began to teach in the Yeshiva in bet-El (Bethel). This rabbinic seminary is now recognized as the oldest Torah school in the world. It was believed to have been started 3700 years ago by Avraham Avinu (the Patriarch Abraham).
Genesis 12:8 - "And he (Abraham) removed from there to a mountain East of Bet-El, and he pitched his tent...and called upon the name of HaShem"
This yeshiva was reestablished in 1978 in the suburbs of Biblical Bethel and called the Yeshivat Bet-El (Bethel). There the rabbi soon became an international champion of peace when he formed a personal relationship with King Hussein of Jordan in 1998. He was invited as quest of the royalty to visit the shrine and burial site of Aaron the high priest in Jordan for mediation and prayer. Recently one of Rabbi Kaduri’s last students and study partners in the yeshiva, Rabbi Shmuel Darzi, passed away in January, 2007 at the age of eighty.
Towards the end of his life, Rabbi Kaduri became known as the “senior kabbalist”, or the last of a generation of Sephardi Jewish mystics, and one of the few in the world who practiced what is known as “practical kabbalah” a form of Jewish mysticism that seeks to affect a change in the world. This reputation as a “supernatural mystic” came to note during and after the Yom Kippur War when he assisted Jewish families to determine if their young ones that were missing in the war were still alive.
In spite of his esteemed status in mystical Judaism, Rabbi Kaduri was even more legendary because of his vast knowledge about Torah law, the prophets, and both conventional Jewish and esoteric thought. Living a modest life, he financed his life as a book binder while serving as the dean for the decade and a half over the Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva in Jerusalem’s Bukharan quarter.
The Call to the Jews to Return to the Land of Israel
It was on September 14, 2005, that Rabbi Kaduri was featured live on Arutz Sheva Israel National Radio show, “matchilim MiBereishit” by one of his students and the show host Yehoshua Meiri. There on the show Rabbi Kaduri made the following declaration:
Rabbi Yitzchak Kaduri - “This declaration I find fitting to issue for all of the Jews of the world to hear. It is incumbent upon them to return to the Land of Israel due to terrible natural disasters which threaten the world.
In the future, the Holy One, Blessed be He, will bring about great disasters in the countries of the world to sweeten the judgments of the Land of Israel. I am ordering the publication of this declaration as a warning, so that Jews in the countries of the world will be aware of the impending danger and will come to the Land of Israel for the building of the Temple and revelation of our righteous Mashiach (Messiah).”
2004 - 2005: The Year of Secrets and Revelations
It was during this momentous broadcast that Rabbi Kaduri made further revelations concerning what he called the “year of secret and revelation" in the world. According to Rabbi Kaduri, the initials (rashei teivot) or the numerical Hebrew abbreviation for 5766, taf, shin, samech, vav gave insight into the nature of the upcoming year. As stated:
2004 - 2005 – The Year of Secret and Revelation
“tehiyeh shnat sod v’gilut”
Rabbi Yitzchak Kaduri – “This will be a year of secret (or sod, from the letter samech) and revelation (or v’gilut from the letter vav).
There was great significance in the prophetic calculations when Rabbi Kaduri made this pronouncement to the Jewish people and all students of prophecy. According to the calculations of the Vilna Gaon, as interpreted by the Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri, during the 7-years count from that Hoshana Rabba on October 7, 2001, a major revelation associated with Maschiach will be given.
According to the Kaduri court, the fall of 2005 was the 4th year of this redemption process (Geula) began. During this time the Maschiach of Yisra’el (Messiah of Israel) would be revealed.
2004-2005: The Year of Global Catastrophes
It was earlier in the Jewish year of 5765 (Fall of 2004-2005) on December 12, 2004, two weeks before the December 24, 2004 Great Indonesian Tsunami, Rabbi Kaduri was quoted in the Yediot Acharonot newspaper as predicting that great catastrophes would hit the earth. This was reported on December 30, 2004 in the Arutz Sheva titled, “Disaster, Redemption, and the Tsunumi”:
Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri - "We are now in
the fourth year of what could be the seven-year
Redemption period, according to the calculation of the Vilna Gaon. [However.] in the coming
three years, uncertainty about the future will hang over our
heads, unless we work and strive that the Mashiach be
revealed.
The Mashiach is already (here) in Israel. Whatever people are sure will not happen, is
liable to happen, and whatever we are certain will happen may disappoint
us. But in the end,
there will be peace throughout the world. The world
is mitmatek mehadinim
(or becoming sweet from strict justice).
Great tragedies in the world are foreseen, that's the thing of the Jews going to the East. But our enemies will not prevail over us in the Land of Israel, 'fear and trembling will fall upon them,' in the (merit of the) power of Torah."
Hashanah Rabba, 2001 - The Beginning of the Gog-Magog War
It was three years earlier, on September 24, 2001, Arutz Sheva’s show host Yehoshua Meiri, a close confidant in the Kaduri court was a participant in a Channel One Israel TV broadcasted program about the Torah mystical sages’ understanding about the 911 destruction of the World Trade Center and the attack on the Pentagon in Washington D.C. This announcement came was thirteen days after September 11, 2001 attack.
Yehoshua Meiri was there to explain to the Hebrew speaking TV audience the prophetic understanding of Rabbi Kaduri concerning the prophetic calculations of the Jewish sage Vilna Gaon as they relate to modern Jewish and world geo-politics. He made the following and startling statement on that broadcast:
Yehoshua Meiri on Rabbi Kaduri - "On Hashanah Rabba, the actual war of Gog and Magog will commence and will last for some seven years."
Thirteen days later after that September 24, 2001 broadcast, on October 7, 2001, on the precise minute as the sun was setting in the western horizon on the eve of the Jewish festival day called Hoshana Rabba, the 7th day of Succot, the began. At this moment, the US and British forces began an aerial bombing campaign against the Taliban and the Al-Qaeda forces in Afghanistan. The War against Terror, and according to Rabbi Yitzkak Kaduri, the Gog-Magog War had now begun.
According to this famed and feared apocalyptic war (Ezekiel 38) of the Jewish prophet Ezekiel living in the land of Babylon, the Jewish sages, over the centuries, have anticipated that it would begin on the 7th or final day of the Festival of Succot. In their prophetic understanding this would be the day for the beginning of the seven year war called the Gog-Magog War. It was Rabbi Kaduri, who put prophetic flesh to the War of Gogumagog and gave the year and the date of its beginning, Sunday, October 7, 2001 at 12:30 EDT (Eastern Daylight Saving Time) and 8:30 p.m. Jerusalem time. At 1:00 p,m, President George Bush addressed the nation from the Oval Office.
The Final “Shemittah”z (Seven Sabbatical Years) when the
Messiah is Revealed
Using the prophetic calculations from the writings of the Vilna Gaon, according the Rabbi Kaduri, the sign of the Gog Mogog war would be that it would break out on the Jewish holiday of Hoshana Rabba (the 7th day of the Sukkot holiday), after the conclusion of the 7th or shemittah (agricultural sabbatical) year. It was on the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah 2001, that the sabbatical year of seven years called “shemittah”z ended and began a new seven year cycle. The Jewish years 5743-5761 (1994-2001) ended at Rosh Hashanah in the Jewish year of 5761 (2001) and a new Sabbatical weeks of years started that would end on Rosh Hashanah, 2008). According the the prophetic understanding of this Jewish sage, this final “Shemittah”z” or Seven Sabbatical years would be the last prophetic cycle under the coming of the messiah. Even more so, it would be during this last final “Shemittah”z” cycle that the revelation of the messiah would come. It is sobering to consider that on the last month of President George Bush’s term in the Oval Office, the Gog-Magog War, according to Rabbi Kaduri, will have reached its prophetic fulfillment.
The Final “Shemittah”z” or Seven Sabbatical years before the Revelation of the Messiah
Jewish Sabbatical years of 5753-5761 (1994-2001) ended on Rosh Hashanah, September 18, 2001
Jewish Sabbatical years of 5761-5768 (2001-2008) began on Rosh Hashanah, September 18, 2001
The Gog Magog War (America’s War on Terror) began on the 7th day of Succot, October 7, 2001
Jewish Sabbatical years of 5761-5768 (2001-2008) will end on Rosh Hashanah, September, 2008
The Gog Magog War (America’s War on Terror) will end by the 7th day of Succot, October, 2008
It is sobering to consider that on the last month of President George Bush’s term in the Oval Office, the Gog-Magog War, according to Rabbi Kaduri, will have reached its prophetic fulfillment.
Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri covering his eyes in concentration
It was on October 19, 2005, that Arutz Sheva, Israel National News posted an article by Baruch Gordon, titled, “Leading Kabbalist Urges Jews to Israel – More Disaster Coming”. In this article, during the week before Yom Kippur, the grandson of Yitzhak Kaduri, Rabbi Yosef Kaduri had a private audience with his grandfather. He asked his father, "Not many Jews are coming from overseas. Why should they come?" The Kabbalist answered, "Because of impending danger." Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri then added a quote from Deuteronomy 4:15: "Be extremely protective of your lives."
Within the apocalyptic mental frame of this ancient sage, was a mystical concept called the “struggle between the oceans". According to him, the large oceans, called the Haokeanus hagadol, would strike the world. According the sage’s grandson, this warning was specific in including American Jews. He told his grandson that on Yom Kippur that he would have more things to say.
I have Seen the Face and today the Soul of the Messiah is Now in Israel
During the afternoon on Yom Kippur, when the students were
reciting the Mincha prayer at his Jerusalem Nachalat Yitzhak
Yeshiva Seminary, the ancient mystical scholar lowered his head
and according to eye witness accounts and, “entered a deep mystical
concentration which lasted uninterrupted for some 45 minutes” between the Mincha (afternoon) and Ma’ariv
(evening) prayers. During this time with his
eyes covered like he traditionally did while reciting the sh’ma prayer,
they could only see his lips moving. The students soon
became concerned and tried to arouse him, fearing that he was having
a heart attack, but his intense concentration could not be broken. Suddenly
the ancient Rabbi raised his head and with a broad smile, they knew
that a revelation was coming. Then the Rabbi declared in Hebrew,
“Hit'abra bezrat hashem nishmat mashiach b'adam m'yisrael”.
Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri – “"With the help of G-d, the soul of the Mashiach has attached itself to a person in Israel"
Over the prior months, the ancient Rabbi continued to teach his students about the Final Redemption. Within his vast knowledge of the Torah and the prophets, the scholar that came the closest to understanding the depths of the coming future age, in his mind, was the Vilna Gaon. Within his writing he left specific calculations concerning the years in reference to the redemption. The problem existed that there was none who could decipher the mystical codes. Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri, during his last years of life was constantly immersed in the study about the return of the messiah. Here within the Jewish festival typology, in that future day during the great celebration at the time of Succot, the Messiah will come to “tabernacle” or to dwell with His people.
Rabbi Elijah Ben Solomon, the Vilna Gaon
What seems to be fascinating was that the major revelations that were associated with the coming of the Messiah were also associated with the timing of the Gog-Magog War. During these seven years, a major revelation would come that would be associated with the Maschiach of Yisra’el (Messiah of Israel).
It profoundly impressed the young Yitzhak mind, when in his yeshiva studies under the esteemed Rabbi Yosef Chaim (Ben Ish Chai), the “Wise Rabbi of Baghdad”, that when the rabbi blessed him, he prophesied to the young Yitzhak Kaduri that he would live to see the revelation of the Messiah.
Within the very mystical traditions of the Hebrew kabbalah, a “righteous soul” is attached to a person of Israel and allows him to be a candidate for the Messiah, but not actually the Messiah, yet. When the person gains an additional soul, the expression of this divine privilege is with the adding of the letter ‘vav’ to the name of that person, yet not changing the pronunciation of his name. Yet, to the ancient kabbalist, the “secret of his power is the Star of David hidden in his attire”.
It was in February 2006 that BibleSearchers posted the article, “The Conflicts between the Messiah son of Joseph and the Erev Rav (‘Mixed Multitude’)” the unusual account about Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri when he finished a private session, a year earlier in the winter of 2005, with a tzaddik (righteous man) half his years. Rabbi Kaduri later told his attendant, “I have seen the Messiah.”
Moshiah and Geula - The venerable Kabbalist took the hand of his visitor,
a talmid chacham beyond his years, which were less than half of the rabbi blessing him. "May Hashem guide you," the 105-year Kabbalist began to bless. "May He provide you with the proper understanding and courage to do
His work on His behalf,
saving His children from further
despair."
Kabbalistic Elder Rabbi Yitzchak Kaduri
The middle-aged rabbi looked up slowly. He had been looking towards the ground with head bowed in
reverence to the great sage.
He had come for a blessing for Torah
learning, like the many who remained in the small and crowded
waiting room behind him,
and for the ability to judge matters of his congregation
accurately. However, the sage seemed to have gone far beyond this and he
raised his eyes to understand why.
However, the elderly rabbi said
no more. Their eyes met,
and immediately the younger rabbi felt
pierced by the Kabbalist’s deep and probing vision. However, at the same
time he felt his warmth and affection and was mesmerized
somewhat. Several seconds passed before he once again became aware
of the passage of time and knew
that he had to move on. But
those eyes. They were saying something. What was it? What were they saying that could not be articulated by words? What message was supposed to be communicated . . . or was communicated . .
. on the level of the soul perhaps? What did he see . . . in me?
He felt spiritually penetrated. And he
felt different but he did not know why. Something had been activated inside of him
but he did not know what.
He slowly
and gently pulled his hand from that of the Kabbalists. He began to turn around to go, but was compelled to look once again into the eyes of the great rabbi. This time he did not
turn around again, but walked away backwards, never taking his eyes
away from the sage
until he had passed through the door and was out
of sight. Then he paused once, looked back into the direction from which
he had come, turned around and left . . . a different person.
In the meantime, the rabbi's assistance
returned. "Shall I invite the next person to come
in?" he inquired, sensing
that the sage was somewhat distracted, no
affected. There was a slight pause. The rabbi's assistance was oldish,
loyal, and rarely paid attention to the faces of those whom he
ushered in to his master's study for sagely advice, a blessing, or both. All were good qualities, except that the gabbai had wished he had for once paid closer attention to the face of the previous
visitor. For, what his master said he had never heard him utter before, and what
a difference it would have made if only he could put a face to it:
"I have just seen the face of Moshiach."
As described in the BibleSearcher’s article above, the Christian world becomes gradually aware that the spiritual reality of the soul of man, and the “Breath of God” that God infused into the nostrils of that lump of clay in the Garden of Eden when “Adam” became a “living soul”, is far more complex a mystical and spiritual revelation than earlier recognized. As stated:
BibleSearchers Reflections – “The Messiah to the Jewish sages as such is fully human, but the Almighty One of Israel gives to him an elevated soul, the Neshama Soul, known as the Breath of God. This is the same “Breath of Life” that Elohim (God) breathed into Adam’s nostrils that gave him life as an elevated soul known as the “Son of God” in the Garden of Eden.
The levels of the souls that a human can have to the Jewish mind are five. They are:
The first level of the human soul is the Nefesh, the animal soul of the atomic world. This soul we share with all the rest of the animal kingdom on this literal physical planet. The second level of the human soul is the Ruach or the soul of the spirit or emotional awareness. This is the spirituality of man that with the Holy Spirit can reach transcendent states beyond ordinary awareness. The third level of the human soul is the Neshama, the elevated state on the level of the angelic world, the spirit world that the soul of man and the Spirit of God meet face to face. A person who lives in Neshama is worthy of the world to come. The fourth level of the human soul is the Chayah, the world of emanation and the altered state of existence that the prophets of old achieved when brought to the presence of God. The fifth and highest level of the human soul is the Yehudah, the world of the will where the human comes into oneness with the Divine.”
The Prophetic Predictions by Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri
September 24, 2001 – The views of Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri were broadcast by Arutz Sheva Israel National Radio show host, Yehoshua Meiri stating - "On Hashanah Rabba, the actual war of Gog and Magog will commence and will last for some seven years."
October 7, 2001 - On the eve of Hashanah Rabba, the 7th day of Succot, the United States military began strikes against al Qaeda terrorist training camps and military installations of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. The War on Terror and the Gog Magog War officially began.
*******
In the fall and early winter of 2004 - After a private session with a middle aged rabbi, Rabbi Kaduri told his attendant, “I have just seen the face of Moshiach (“The Messiah”).
December 12, 2004 – In the Yediot Acharonot News, Rabbi Kaduri predicted “great tragedies in the world are foreseen”. He pointed the direction of the catastrophes as being in the region “where Jews are going to the East.”
Rabbi Kaduri also announced to the Israeli press at this time, “The Maschiach is already in Israel”.
December 24, 2004 – The Great Indonesian, Indian Ocean Tsunami killed greater than 150,000 people along the Indian Ocean. Since that day, the world has become transfixed with the increasing catastrophic climatic and earth changes that have been occurring on this planet. Out of this concern the world’s populations are now giving increased attention on what is called “global warming” or as BibleSearcher’s attest are “Catastrophic Preparations of this Planet for the Coming of the Messiah”.

September 14, 2005 – On the Arutz Sheva National Radio Show, Rabbi Kaduri made the declaration that it was imperative that the “Jewish people return to the Land of Israel due to terrible natural disasters which threaten the world”.
He proclaimed the Jewish year from 2005-2006, was to be a year of “Secret and Revelation” and during this year the Jewish messiah would be revealed.
On Rosh Hashanah, 2005, the aged sage went into a deep period of concentration for about 45 minutes during the afternoon prayer session. Suddenly he raised his head with a smile, declared, “The soul of the Messiah has attached itself to a person in Israel.”

On January 28, 2006, after a brief bout of pneumonia, Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri breathed his last breath. Before his death, he left his last testimony in a sealed envelope with his seminary with instructions that it not be opened until one year after his death. The legendary image of this man who affected so much the hearts and minds of the Jewish people could only be reflected that at his funeral twenty-four hours later, an estimated 200,000 to 300,000 people thronged the streets of Jerusalem to pay tribute to the “mystic sage” that touched their hearts and gave them hope in a world of progressive chaos that their messiah would honor his promise to come and guide them though their coming “time of trouble”.

Message from BibleSearchers
BibleSearchers scans the world for information that has relevance on the time of the end. It is our prayer that this will allow the believers in the Almighty One of Israel to “watch and be ready”. Our readiness has nothing to do trying to halt the progression of evil on our planet earth. In our readiness, we seek to be prepared for the coming of the Messiah of Israel so that goodness and evil will be manifested in its fullest. Our preparation is a pathway of spiritual readiness for a world of peace. Our defender is the Lord of hosts. The time of the end suggests that the Eternal One of Israel’s intent is to close out this chapter of earth’s history so that the perpetrators of evil, those that seek power, greed and control, will be eliminated from this planet earth. The wars of the heavens are being played out on this planet earth and humans will live through it to testify of the might, power, justice and the love of the God of Israel. In a world of corruption and disinformation, we cannot always know what the historical truth is and who is promoting evil or mis-information. We cannot guarantee our sources but we will always seek to portray trends that can be validated in the Torah and the testimony of the prophets of the Old and the New Testament.
