Introduction

http://images.teamsugar.com/files/usr/1/12981/dv1525005.preview.jpgHuman beings, as a whole, desire discipline and control of their lives.  They admire frugality, responsibility, and prudence in one’s lifestyle. But life has become so different in the last fifty years that it would make our lives in many ways unrecognizable to modern cultural living in this Coca-Cola and McDonald’s era. It was in the 1950s in which Americans seriously began to analyze our dietary lifestyle.  This was the era that we began to establish dietary food hierarchies and human dietary requirements for protein, sugar, and even vitamins. But then, two important revolutions occurred in the western cultures of America and Europe and then spread around the world; the Fast Food Revolution and the Sugar Substitute Revolution.

The Outcome of Craving Food

Most Americans think that they cannot loose weight because they cannot exercise. This is a myth, for controlling one’s appetite, craving, and eating the proper and right kinds of food occur at the dinner table, not in front of the TV, on the tennis court, or walking pathways or sidewalks. In fact, one of the hidden secrets that most nutritionists, dietary counselors, and even physicians have not discovered to help you loose weight is totally within your control and does not cost you a penny.

It is my professional medical opinion that your life can return back to your “control” and “discipline” within only two weeks of intense personal effort. In fact, it will enrich your lives so immensely that your dinner table will become a landscape of gourmet delight.

The reason most people cannot loose weight comes from one reason only – you crave food.  Of the thousands of books on dietary and weight management programs, most of them offer you some of the most tasteless foods that are packaged, hugely expensive, or very boring to eat.  At the same time, the bountiful blessings of God’s creation could be creating a delight for your taste buds as you watch your life being recreated back to the life and person that your Creator designed for your life.

How do I Quit Craving Food?

http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/27/276592/39_2008/craving.jpgImagine that you have just landed in some exotic land, a gorgeous place in which you have always dreamed of visiting and experiencing. Years of saving money have gone in the preparation for this “Dream Vacation of a Lifetime” and now you are here. As you settle into your beautiful room, you begin to prepare for your new adventure and the first thing that comes to your mind, “What can I eat?”  As you rummage around the room, you find the resort menu, but suddenly you come to a rood awakening, you cannot read the foreign language on the menu. So you decide to call the food management phone and prepare your order for breakfast the next morning.  As you give the broken English attendant at the other end your desire for breakfast, you come to the second rood awakening when she states in halting English, ”we don’t have any of those foods here.”

Craving Food

The first thing you want is to panic, but suddenly the adventuresome side of you comes to the front, “wow, this is going to be interesting!” For two weeks, we are going to be eating “native cuisine” on our dream vacation.  The greatest surprise, you actually enjoy it, and when you return back home, you take many new recipes and eating styles hints back home to share with your family and friends. So let’s start a journey to a gourmet delight.

What causes Craving?

http://zenhabits.net/fotos/20081002sugar.jpgThe biggest lapse in medical and dietary research is our failure to ask the question, “What causes craving?” It was to this dilemma that I realized that I had no answers for my own patients. So for several months I pondered this question. When I questioned my patients the most resounding response was that we crave sugar and so immediately everyone tries to stop using sugar – old fashion white granulated sugar. Yet, this is true, but only in part.  The truth is that we do not crave sugar. WE CRAVE SWEETNESS of sugar!  If sugar was bitter, we would pay no attention to it.  We realize that we don’t have a “sugar tooth”.  We have a “sweet tooth”!

Craving!!

So let us make an experiment; sweet herbal tea.  You and I sit down and ponder your desire for sweetness.  We have a waiter bring to the table your favorite; Peach and Ginger Unsweetened Tea.  You put four teaspoons of sugar in your glass, saturate the water, and stir it up.  Your first taste?  This is sweet tea! I like it!. So I convince you that I make your tea sweeter.  You protest but then allow me to proceed as I bring out a “cup” of sugar and pour it into your glass. I stir your glass and now you have “tea syrup”. Is it sweeter?  About ninety percent of my patients will say, yes!.

The real answer is “No!”. With four teaspoons of sugar in your glass of water, you have saturated the water with sugar so no additional sugar can go into solution.  Also, sugar is a chemical and sugar can only be as sweet as sugar can be.  It makes not difference whether you have tea flavored frosting, tea flavored syrup, sweetened tea, or sweetened water.  The “sweetness index” is all the same. If we crave the sweetness of sugar, would there not be physical probability that adding something that is sweeter than sugar, we will intensify our craving exponentially.  So let us begin our journey.

http://www.foodfashionista.com/.a/6a00e553e718528833010535dd6604970c-800wiIf we research into the history of food in antiquity, we find that we are not much different than human living in the ancient civilizations.  In the days of the Sumerian Empire, when the Patriarch Abraham was alive, we can read the literature of the great Sumerian banquets that were written on cuneiform rolls.  The scribes did not extol the delight of eating chickens, fish or eggs, but they did write about the marvelous figs and dates that were saved to be eaten at the end of the banquet meal. They also loved sweetness.

Sabotaging your Diet

Our first response in our journey for dietary control and rehabilitation is to take “sugar” out of our dietary lifestyle.  Since the medical and dietary experts plus the entire food industry have stated their professional opinions, we go to the diet food section of the grocery store, pick up various boxes of artificial sweeteners and explore the vast variety of dietary foods and “Lite food and beverage” substitutes. Little do we realize but that we have succumbed to a new medical myth; artificial sweeteners are good for our diet but they remove the dangers of sugar with diabetes, obesity, and coronary heart disease

Our first dietary exploration into our new lifestyle is to take the herbal tea and the four teaspoons of sugar in our first experiment and substitute the “sugar” in the herbal tea with the pink packaged Sweet’n Low (Saccarine). Within a week, we come an amazing awakening.  We are not eating sugar and our craving is worse!  This is not doing well.  So we decide to use America’s leading standard of food sugar substitutes, the blue packaged, Splenda, and the results are even worse. Our craving becomes even worse.  Now we are angry. Forget this, you say, “I’m going back to my regular food with sugar.”

Natures Saboteur - our Desire for Sweetness

What have we learned!  Since our craving is exponentially tied to our desire for sweetness, we forgot to “connect the dots” and realize that when we use a sugar substitute that is sweeter than sugar, our craving goes up exponentially!  Now comes the science and how we have created the myths of our purported eating and dietary excellence.  When you put “Sweet’n Low” in your tea, you have put in a sugar substitute that is 250 time sweeter than sugar and your craving for sweetness increases.

Well, you say, I am going to substitute Sweet/n Low for “Splenda” and you have now substituted your sugar with a chemical that is 600 times sweeter than sugar, and your craving skyrockets.  Truly you are not getting the sugar calories, and truly you are not going to loose weight with the 60 calories in the four teaspoons of sugar in your tea.  A worse dilemma is now at hand. Your craving is worse! Now you begin to notice that all you can think about is food.  You are now “lusting” for food.  Contrary to our modern use of the word, “lust”, it has nothing to do with sexual lifestyle. Lusting means only one thing, “I must have it Now!”  So what do you do!

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/04/28/article-1017101-0110BD1100000578-295_233x432.jpgThe next meal you notice that when the Potatoes come around, you take a bigger helping.  When the spaghetti comes around, you fill your place (four portions), add more to create a symmetrical mound on your plate (two more portions) and then look at it yearningly and say, “This would be nice with a couple of pieces of garlic bread (two more portions).  Now with a meal with eight portions of a complete carbohydrate meal, you begin inhaling your gastronomical delight. As the pasta/spaghetti descends into your stomach the powdered flour of the noodles quickly dissolve and are converted to sugar in your stomach.  With a “sugar rush” you now begin to feel better. “This is good!” you say.

I Must have It Now!

When the Rice comes around, you spread the rice over the breadth of your plate, and then cover it up with some type of savory sauce or meat.  When the Bread comes around, wow, there are so many choices to choose from. This is America and European culture at their best. In America, we take all the native cuisines from around the world and “carbize” them and make them into American cuisine.

When you go traveling to Italy, you will notice that “spaghetti” is a side dish in a small cup.  In American it is double sized-up on your plate.  As you sit on the plaza at Florence, Italy, you order a pizza while admiring the tall statue of David by Michelangelo standing outside the Museum Palazzo Vecchio. The Italian meal arrives with a six inch thin crusted pizza accompanied with a salad and an eight ounce glass of tea. This is your meal!  In America, it becomes a twelve inch pizza, with a one inch high crust and three inches of cheese cascading over the sides. Forget the salad and please, you say, “I must have my ‘Route 44’, take the gallon down the road “soda” as you leave.

When you make a decision to eat Chinese food, you sit down in a simple but nicely decorated restaurant and order your platter of Chinese cuisine.  You then begin to wonder, how would a native Chinese person eat?  To your surprise there is an elderly Chinese man nearby ordering his food and so you watch.  Surprise, you both order the same meal and now you watch.

Your first inclination when the waiter arrived with your platter of food and the cup of rice is, “Waiter, please, I need a bowl of rice!”  You promptly take the bowl of rice, flip it upside down and now you have a mound of rice. Now examine what happens next.

The elderly Chinese man brings the entire plate of Chinese food to himself. He then takes a large helping of Chinese food with a few kernels of rice and eats.  At the same time, you watch your own eating habits. Over your mound of rice, you now dribble the Chinese food.   When you eat, your teaspoon helping is about 80% rice and 20% Chinese food flavoring the rice, while the native Chinese man is 20% rice and 80% Chinese food. He is thin, and you are not. Here then is your dilemma.

When foreign nationals come to America, one of the rudest awakenings they receive is, “American food is so greasy, bland and starchy?”  They left their native cuisine of native fruits and vegetable with forty different spices to cook a hundred different ways and are welcomed to America with two platters of enchiladas with rice and beans, humongous thick crusted pizzas loaded with meat and cheese, a thousand varieties of pasta with heavy cream sauces, and white bread in a hundred different manifestations.

How to Destroy your “Sweet Tooth”

http://www.crystalalgae.com/images/craving.jpgSo what do we do! As we started this exploration with a journey, you can begin your journey today!  For two weeks you can crash your “Sweet Tooth” and begin a life of dietary journey that will open up doors to foods so tasty and aromas so wonderful that you never realized it for it had been covered up with the intense sweetness and starchiness of your diet.

Impulsiveness and Lusting for Food

How do we begin?  Here we introduce to you the Creator’s Craving Buster Diet! In two weeks, a new world can be opened up to you as you explore your way away from the top six foods that are sabotaging your diet and reintroduce food as the Creator created in Eden.

You will choose to crash your “Sweet Tooth” and begin a new life revisiting the Garden of Eden. Life will become more peaceful. The rollercoaster feelings of ups and down after a meal will become a serene quietness. The jittery and irritable feelings of sugar escalating and crashing in your body will disappear. Let us make it simple. There are only six foods or food products to remember to eliminate from your diet, rand a tool to remember what these six foods are. What is your goal?

Today, whenever you get hungry, and your mouth begins to drool with anticipation of food, food is “dancing” in front of your eyeballs. It is a delirious experience to try to eat “right” because the food “dancing” for your attention is what you “must have”.  Your goal is to wake up one morning, two weeks from now and say, “Wow, I am hungry!” Then your eyes scan the room and then in amazement, you say, “There is no food “dancing” in from of my eyeballs.” Then you give a plaintive plea, “I don’t know what to eat!”  At that moment of time, your successful journey to loosing weight and proper weight management begins.

The Creator’s Craving Buster Diet – Free and Simple!

Here begins your two week, “Creator’s Craving Buster Diet”.

Remember Six Things: SS – PP – RB!  Do not eat Sugar, Sweeteners, Potatoes, Pasta, Rice and Bread. Memorize them!

http://www.standsix.com/content/s6/images/sugarimba3.jpgNO!     S - - Sugar!

You will need to examine everything you eat. Every box of prepared food you use. Every beverage you drink. Every mixed foods not made and eaten directly as given to you by the Creator.

It will be necessary to eliminate every type of sugar, honey, brown sugar, beet sugar, corn syrup, and every variety of natural sugars except fresh fruits and eat them how the Creator made them.

God’s Natural Sugars

NO!     S - - Artificial Sweeteners or Sugar Substitutes;

http://www.thedietsolutionprogram.com/images/ezine/artificialsweeteners.jpgAll sugar substitutes and artificial sweeteners will need to be eliminated from your diet! Forever!  The may be natural but provide no dietary nutritional value.  They may be toxic or harmful to your life, and only do one thing; cause food craving while denying you the true and wonderful flavors of natural foods how the Creator designed them.

Artificial Sweeteners

Your beverages of choice are: Water, Milk, and Unsweetened Tea. All others have either sugar or sugar substitutes. You may crush some fresh lemon, lime, blueberries, blackberries or strawberries to flavor the water naturally, but do not drink fruit juices for you are drinking concentrated sugars and the weight does up.

While I would love to extract all stimulants from your diet and reduce the cholesterol laden fats in your diet, this is not the purpose of this diet!  Continue eating meats and fats as you have to date, but do not add any more fats to your diet.

Coffee with milk and creamers can be used.  Yet, here is a good time to reduce or eliminate coffee and tea, and explore with the hundreds of varieties of non-caffeinated herbal teas including de-caffeinated coffee.

No!      P - - Potatoes;

Garlic_Dill_mashed-potatoes1.jpg image by digitalmuse

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Thanks to the Irish, the potatoes are a mainstay of the American Diet and a valuable source of food energy.  But, Americans eats an overwhelming too many calories with potatoes. Go to your local food supermarket or grocery store. Head over to the Fruit and Vegetable section and there before your eyes are over 200 different varieties fruits and vegetables given to us by our Creator. You can eat for the next two week a choice of 198 different varieties of nature’s best. You will take, though, “two vegetables” off your platter – Potato and the Sweet Potato (Potato Plus Sweetness). Enjoy them in their native way.  No canned, frozen, dried, juices, or processed fruits and vegetables.

No!      P - - Pasta;

http://imagecache5.art.com/p/LRG/16/1682/S581D00Z/riccardo-marcialis-pasta-italiana-i.jpgPasta is made from denatured grain that is ground up into powder and then re- created in a thousand different varieties. In the native lands of Italy where pasta was created, it usually is not a main meal, but incorporated like beans in Central and South America as a natural carbohydrate staple for a balanced diet.

Pasta Varieties Galore

God does not make pasta!  There is no natural substitute for pasta, unless you like Spaghetti Squash.  It must then be eaten with no sugar – white or brown.  Pasta later may be incorporated back into your diet, but you must first reduce your dependency and craving for pasta for this simple carbohydrates returns quickly to its simple element – sugar.

http://www.bessfm.com/images/web-rice-image.jpgNo!      R - - Rice;

Eden’s Native Rice from the Field

Rice will again be used in your diet, but not for two weeks, to reduce your dependency and craving to this valuable carbohydrate. Rice as the Creator made it is wonderful. Rice denatured by taking the fiber wrapping from around it and become a major carbohydrate staple of our diet is destructive.

So for two weeks, do not use rice in any form; Sticky White, Himalayan Jasmine, Brown, or Wild Rice Pilaf.  We can incorporate it into our lives modestly at a later date.

No!      B - - Bread;

http://www.naturaltherapypages.com.au/media_library/Image/article_images/5989020_BenefitsofSproutedGrains_2.jpgIn almost all its forms, Bread is made from denatured grain that is ground up into powder (four) and then recreated into a thousand different forms.  Bread includes: Chips and Crackers, Muffins and Biscuits, Bagels, Kolaches, and Pretzels, Pizza, Tortillas, Pita, and Wraps and 99% of the breads that are found in the Bread isle and the Cereal isles of the grocery store with hundreds of different varieties of bread and cereals.

Sprouted Grains!

The dilemma with bread includes that it also is made from denatured whole grains that are ground up into powder (flour). These quickly dissolve in the mouth and stomach and converted to sugar – called simple carbohydrates.

The simpler the carbohydrates, like white bread and Cheerios, Rice Krispies, and Corn Flakes, You will experience a “sugar rush” that will only last about two to three hours and then crash, while you are seeking a snack to hold you until the next meal.

Sprouted 100% Whole Grain Bread by essentialeatingThere is one substitute during the two weeks (and then beyond) to use for bread and cereals.  – Whole Grain Sprouted Bread and Whole Grain Cereal and Sprouted Cereal.  In your local supermarket, you can today buy in the frozen bread section, “Seven Grain Sprouted Bread” and “Ezekiel Bread” (Five Grain Sprouted Bread) that take the 5 to 7 grains of the Bible, sprout the grain as they did in the days of antiquity and make the bread. There is no “flour” in the bread.

Dining with Sprouted Grain Bread

Cereals are a greater challenge.  Many cereals such as Cheerios tout as being whole grain or multi-grain but in reality they suffer from the same problem of all bread and cereals products. Almost all of them are whole or multi-grains that are ground up into powder (flour) and remade into little donuts (Cheerios) or flakes (Corn Flakes, Special K, and numerous others) that quickly are transformed to sugar in the saliva of your mouth or the hydrochloric acid of your stomach with the digestive enzymes and bacteria as they are quickly converted to sugar.

If you don’t believe me, take the Saltine Soda Cracker Test”.  This is a simple flour cracker that comes with salt or salt free.  Take the salt off, brush it away or use a salt free Saltine Cracker. Place it on top of your tongue and put it into your mouth.  Do not chew on it.  Do not munch it, or suck on it. Let it sit and watch your watch.  You will notice a dull floury taste, but in about 45 seconds you will notice that it is turning sweet.  The flour is quickly converting to sugar by the saliva alone.

http://allwomenstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/cereals.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y237/fanaticcook/granola1color.jpgOf course, we do not chew our food for 45 seconds, so the sweetness conversion is not perceived by our taste buds. So also will be the rapid conversion of any flour based products; crackers, biscuits, pasta as they are transformed into simple sugar.

Processed Flaked Cereal from Multi-Grain Flour

 Whole Grain Toasted Cereal with Ribbing on the Whole Grains

The best of the cereals on the American marketplace are Uncle Sam’s Cereal, with Whole Grain Wheat with Flax Seeds, Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Cereal, and Post’s Great Grains.   Please wait for two weeks after your Creator’s Craving Buster Diet is completed to use the Great Grains Cereal, because Great Grains does have brown sugar clusters. Add to these cereals, high fiber berries such as blueberries, blackberries, or strawberries and you have a tasty, nutritious whole grain cereal that will keep your stomach satisfied for five or more hours and the eliminate your desire to snack before your next meal.

The Secret!  Look for the natural whole grains with the ribbing on the grain, whether oats or wheat. No processed grain flakes can duplicate this natural ribbing.

 Enjoy your experience into Returning to Eden’s Gourmet Dietary Lifestyle!

Message from BibleSearchers

BibleSearchers scans the world for information that has relevance on the time of the end.  It is our prayer that this will allow the believers in the Almighty One of Israel to “watch and be ready”.  Our readiness has nothing to do trying to halt the progression of evil on our planet earth.  In our readiness, we seek to be prepared for the coming of the Messiah of Israel so that goodness and evil will be manifested in its fullest.  Our preparation is a pathway of spiritual readiness for a world of peace.  Our defender is the Lord of hosts. The time of the end suggests that the Eternal One of Israel’s intent is to close out this chapter of earth’s history so that the perpetrators of evil, those that seek power, greed and control, will be eliminated from this planet earth.  The wars of the heavens are being played out on this planet earth and humans will live through it to testify of the might, power, justice and the love of the God of Israel.  In a world of corruption and disinformation, we cannot always know what the historical truth is and who is promoting evil or mis-information.  We cannot guarantee our sources but we will always seek to portray trends that can be validated in the Torah and the testimony of the prophets of the Old and the New Testament.
